Direct Primary Care Doctor
Dr. Li is a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician who opened Thrive Direct Care in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Li discusses how, as an ER-trained physician, his journey to opening his DPC. He has collaborated with other DPC practices in the Chicago area and gives his opinion on how this benefiting the community as a whole. He draws focus to contemplate one's value as a physician and how important he views financial health status while considering making the move to DPC.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Northeastern University.
He received his MD from University of Massachusetts Medical School then went on to an internal medicine internship at University of Maryland Medical Center Baltimore before completing his Emergency Medicine residency at St John's Hospital and Medical Center Detroit.
He’s currently on the board of directors for the American Academy of Emergency Medicine Physician group.
He opened his DPC doors June 2020!
