Direct Primary Care Doctor
Dr. Janet Arribas attended Medical School at Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2004. She did her internship year of residency from 2004-2005 in the Bronx, NY followed by a surgical residency from 2005-2009 in Far Rockaway, NY, which is in Queens.
She then took a hiatus after her surgical residency, was employed as a Medispa Doctor on a cruise ship and was employed as an osteopathic medical director for a chiropractor later on.
From 2012-2015 she completed her Family Medicine Residency in Lancaster, OH and then achieved her family medicine board certification.
After residency, she worked at a benefits organization that served a prominent union in New York City for three and a half years and also worked at a strictly house call-based service, for a few months. After choosing to leave that position, she immediately accepted a pandemic assignment with a locums company, but unfortunately it fell through and she was left with a lot of extra time on her plate.
With the extra time, she decided to work on Launching Bahay Medical. She founded Bahay Medical PC with a soft launch in July of 2019 and officially opened her doors in in October of 2019 on Broadway.
